About

Hi, I'm Natalie.  I haven't had my coffee yet.

My plan is to write about life.  I expect that my dog, my husband, my camera, my skiing and kayaking bad habits, and the joys of babywearing, washing machines and psychotic toddlers will likely be common themes.  (I apologize in advance.)

About me:
I'm from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and I love our winters almost as much as our summers.  I'm up here living the crazy life of a working mom who is desperately trying to maintain some sense of self while still maintaining a home and family.  I'm simultaneously overly-excited about being back at work, and madly missing being a full-time mom.  I have issues.

I'm in my late twenties early thirties, the mother of an amazing little girl, the owner of a somewhat neurotic dog, and the wife of an amazing husband.  I'm hard to get to know, and probably harder to get to like.  In the real world, I cook poorly, I kayak cautiously, I photograph passionately, and I bullshit superbly.  I've been a good lifeguard, an exceptional salesperson, a mediocre stay-at-home-mom, a driven teacher, and a dedicated manager.  I grew up around alcoholism, depression, divorce, and in relative affluence.  I may tell you about it sometime.
