I would like to introduce Elaine the sock kitty. Elaine is Maurice's slightly younger cousin. She had an unfortunate experience with a very unskilled plastic surgeon not too long ago which is why her ears are so misshapen and why her liposuction resulted in such a poor shape. It's a rather touchy subject, so I would appreciate it if you didn't mention anything in front of her.
Frances, as always, was very welcoming of Elaine. She even sucked her paw as a sign of her appreciation of Elaine's company. At least, I think it was appreciation. It could have been teething-related aggression now that I think about it. Huh.
After introducing Elaine to Frances, I carefully made the introduction to The Boy.
This is where everything went horribly, horribly wrong.

Thankfully, Elaine only suffered surface flesh wounds and has already completely recovered. I would be happy to send her your well wishes.
